CAN I MIX N-R-G WITH OTHER FOODS?
While feeding N-R-G as a sole diet will provide the best of benefits for your pet,
lifestyle decisions dictate what and how your pet is fed. N-R-G can be fed in
conjunction with other to your champion pet with amazing results.

I FEED KIBBLE, CAN I TOP IT WITH N-R-G INSTEAD OF CANNED FOOD?
If kibble is the bulk of your pets diet N-R-G can be mixed with any balanced kibble
diet or simply added as a palatability enhancer. Adding N-R-G to a kibble diet will
not only improve palatability, but also add an important fresh factor (phyto nutrients)
to your pets diet.

I FEED RAW, IS N-R-G COMPATIBLE?
If a raw diet is part of your feeding protocol, N-R-G can be a positive addition. Offer
N-R-G as a separate meal daily to provide the balanced portion of the diet. This will
maximize the contribution to your pets' good health.

IF N-R-G IS ONLY PART OF YOUR FEEDING PROTOCOL.
Remember to mix N-R-G with other balanced diets. Serve N-R-G as separate meal
if the other portion of your pets' diet is an unbalanced ration.

HOW MANY CUPS TO THE LB.?
There are approximately 5 cups to the lb (Vitality and Optimum) (6 cups to the lb
Maxim.)

DO I FEED N-R-G WET OR DRY?
While many dogs enjoy N-R-G pieces dry as a treat to maximize enzyme activity N-R-G
should always be fed moist after refreshing from 20 minutes or so.

CAN MY PUPPY OR SENIOR DOG EAT N-R-G?
N-R-G is formulated and balanced for ALL LIFE STAGES and be fed to all ages of

WHY DOES MAXIM CONTAIN WHEAT GERM?
Many dogs to day have an intolerance for grains. The trigger for this intolerance is
gluten and wheat germ does not contain any gluten. We include wheat germ in all our
formulas because they are the most digestible  natural source of many nutrients.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD MY DOG IS ALLERGIC TO GRAIN WHICH N-R-G DIETS CAN MY
DOG EAT?
Dogs that have an allergy to grain are usually intolerant to the gluten in wheat as it has
been overused in pet food for decades. In human medicine people with wheat
allergies substitute oats and we find many dogs with a wheat intolerance can do very
well on Vitality and Optimum.
Maxim is the obvious choice if your dogs last reaction to any grain was sever.

HOW SHOULD I SWITCH MY DOG TO N-R-G.?
Any diet change should be gradual. Loose stools often result in a quick diet change if
your dog has been fed the same food for months or even years. This happens
because the bacteria in the large intestine become accustomed to a certain PH in the
intestine and a sudden change in diet shocks these bacteria and they signal the
intestinal lining (lumen) to release water in an attempt to return the PH to what they
are used to.
